The Orion Molecular Cloud Complex is a stellar nursery where stars are born in clouds of gas. That’s the idea here: half-formed thoughts, written down before they’re polished, left to catch light over time. The purpose is to bring vibility to breadth of my experience over the years.
I’m Dalorion. I’ve spent over a decade wanting a public place to show what I actually know, in my own words — not a résumé bullet, not internal documenting the adventures of disaster recovery. This is that place, and it’s deliberately loose. My dalorion.io stays the formal portfolio; this is the garden out back. (Fair warning: my actual garden is a mess. Let’s see if I can keep this one alive.)
How to read this
Notes here carry a maturity tag. Since this whole place is named after a stellar nursery, I’m stealing the actual stages of how a star forms:
- 🌫️ nebula — raw gas. Not a note yet, just something sitting in the backlog.
- 🌑 protostar — a raw idea, just collapsing into shape. Could be wrong, could change completely.
- ✨ young star — has real form, still stabilizing. You can lean on it.
- ⭐ star — settled. I’ll still revise it, but the core holds.
Don’t expect a polished blog. Expect notes in progress.
